Bishop Museum: This museum is recognized as the world's largest storehouse of Polynesian cultural and scientific artifacts. The huge entomological collection of more than 13.5 million specimens also attracts a large number of visitors. This museum was set up by Charles Reed Bishop in the memory of his beloved wife. He was the last scion of the former ruling family of Hawaii.


Diamond Head: This volcanic tuff is a popular hiking destination of Hawaii and is also designated as a state Monument. From the top of the Diamond Head, the visitors can take a breathtaking view of the surrounding coastal area including Pacific Ocean.

Honolulu Zoo: It is located in the Queen Kapiolani Park and is a home to more than 1000 animals. Red-footed tortoise, sun bear, pot-bellied pig, hedgehog, elephant, giraffe, rhino, lion, camel, etc. can be seen roaming around their specially designed habitats. Along with numerous species of birds and reptiles, the visitors can also take the charm of seeing those animals which were brought from foreign countries.

National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific: It is located in Punchbowl Crater and is devoted to the brave American soldiers who sacrificed their lives while protecting their motherland. It is visited by thousands of tourists every year. The local people also visit this memorial to pay homage to their war heroes.
